‘Silent intentions’ is a body of work that portrays the unique connection between horses, nature and the human as an observer.

Through her lens Monika is trying to capture the unique angles of these strong animals, figuring out the spaces enclosed in the world of silence and desire to know them better, touching upon the themes of abstract, stillness and minimalism.

The viewer can see the attempt to puzzle, out, discover and understand the complexity of these animals. Invading their natural habitat made her learn to think and act like them, to share the breath together.

This series seek to engage the viewer in a private world of connection between human and animal, between intentional decision making and listening to pure instincts.
